DAY 1
Arrival
Night arrival at Antananarivo’s airport, welcome, change and transfer to your Hotel.

DAY 2
Road to Miandrivazo
After an early continental breakfast, drive to Antsirabe through typical and colorful landscapes. Stop at Ambatolampy (70 km) known for producing cooking-pots from recycled aluminum. Continuation and arrival to Antsirabe for lunch. Road to the village of Miandrivazo 220 Km (04 hours). Dinner and overnight at your hotel. Read more

DAY 3
Beginning of Descent
Continental breakfast then transfer to Masiakampy (01 hour from Miandrivazo) for boarding on motor boat. Welcome and beginning of the descent. Navigation through vast cultivated plains, you will reach the Tsiribihina’s gorge towards 02’00 Pm; Stop at the village of Sahambano, to enjoy a huge waterfall. Tents will be set up on a large sandbank and you will rest before heading to Tsiribihina River Tour the following day. Read more

DAY 4
Tsiribihina River Tour
The barge continues its navigation in the heart of the river Tsiribihina. You will meet pirogues, motorized barges filled of local produces for exportation or exchanges between villagers, herds of zebus crossing the river. During the Tsiribihina River Tour, you will stop at villages of Begidro (home of tobacco concessions) and Berevo which has a clinic run by good sisters. The landscapes will succeed one another (cliff of bats, giant capoquiers, the rice fields ...). At the end of the Tsiribihina River Tour, birds such as herons, teals, and humpback ducks will accompany you. The crew will find a sandbank for the camp. Read more

DAY 5
Road to the Tsingy
The barge will go on for Belo sur Tsiribihina; The first baobabs will appear. Lunch on the barge. End of the descent towards noon. Arrival at Belo sur Tsiribhina and drive to Bekopaka is a small village on the north side of the river located next to the main entrance for the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. On the south side of the river there is a camp site, wher you will rest and get ready for the Tsingy trip the following day. Read more

DAY 6
Tsingy Trip
Day to visit main sites of the Bemaraha National park (17 km from your hotel). This enormous UNESCO World Heritage Site protects the largest of Madagascar’s Tsingy limestone plateau and its wildlife. MNP (the association that cares and manages protected areas) has built impressive walkways for the park’s circuit, because of the chaotic razor-sharp pinnacles. There are cable robes, rocky steps, steel ladders and even a suspension bridge over one of the canyons. Picnic lunch, then visit of “Petit Tsingy”: this circuit of 2-3 hours of duration passes through a labyrinth of limestone and two view points over the impressive pinnacles. There are some good chances to spot the Decken’s Sifaka and red-fronted brown lemurs. Back to your hotel at the end of the afternoon. Read more

DAY 7
The Kirindy Forest & the Baobabs Avenue
After the Tsingy trip, enjoy a continental breakfast, and then drive to Morondava (187 km). Lunch. Stop at the sacred baobabs, then stop to see the baobab lovers and last stop at the famous Baobabs Avenue, 'adansonia Grandidieri'. Some of them are more than 1000 years old. DAY 8
Road back to highlands
After an early continental breakfast, drive back to Antsirabe with a several stop on the way for pictures and to enjoy landscapes. Lunch on road. Antsirabe means a place full of salt, the name of the city comes from the presence of hot springs discovered in the 19th century by Of Norwegian missionaries. Little city tour by rickshaw to visit local craftsmen the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. Read more

DAY 9
Last day shopping
After Breakfast, back to Antananarivo. Lunch then visit of the handicraft market La Digue, transfer to your hotel. Day use and dinner at bois vert (or similar). Pick up at your hotel according to flight schedule and transfer to Ivato international airport for flight homewards.
